Can’t I just do the treatments myself with products bought from the garden centre?
There are a large variety of lawn treatment products available from DIY stores and garden centres however they will not match the quality and efficacy of our professional products. All our technicians are NPTC qualified to allow them to work with our products. These are professional turf management products and with these you get professional results. You may also be surprised that our service might work out cheaper and with better results than the DIY approach.
How can you manage to treat my lawn for not much more than it would cost me
The liquid fertilisers and herbicides are applied at the same time using our own dispensing system, which is very efficient —— hence our low price.
What is the best time of year to start my lawn care programme?
You can start a programme at any time of year; however the results will vary between the seasons.
Can I just have one treatment?
You can book a one-off treatment if you wish. However, we recommend our year-round treatment programme to ensure your lawn receives all the benefits.

If you know the size of your lawn, we will be able to give you a price.
Will I have to sign a contract?
All our services are contract free, you will never be asked to sign a contract and should you wish, cancel the service at any time.
I work during the week, how can we manage your visits?
I only require access to the lawn. Most customers leave a side gate open once they know I’m coming and shut any pets away from the lawn. I am happy to lock up afterwards.
How do I pay you?
An invoice will be issued on the day and I accept cash or cheque as payment. Payment may be also be made on our website. Some customers choose to pay monthly by direct debit whereby we spread the cost of your annual plan over 12 convenient monthly payments. A one-off yearly payment can also be made.
What happens if I change my mind?
If you change your mind just contact us, pay for any treatments you have already received and we will cancel our next visit.

Whilst we can work in most conditions there will be times when we would be unable, usually in extreme wind, snow or ice. If this is the case, we would notify you and rearrange our visit.

The products we use are safer than most common household products. Lawn treatments are safe for children and pets. There are some exceptions with small grazing animals (tortoises & rabbits etc) which should be kept off the lawn for at least 10 days.

Do not use the clippings as mulch until you have mowed the lawn 4 times unless composted for at least 6 months.

Regularly pick up weeds which helps to prevent disease and moss.
How do I protect my grass from dog urine? Our most popular question!
Dogs urine damages your lawn because it is high in nitrogen. Whilst nitrogen is generally good for your lawn, if it is too concentrated it will scorch and burn the grass.
Dilute the damage. Have a watering can at the ready.
